Edward "Ed" Arthur Everroad, 83, of Indianapolis, formerly of Muncie, IN, passed away May 3, 2018.
Ed was born on July 31, 1934 in Muncie, IN. He left school early to help his family on their farm, and eventually became semi-truck driver for the circus, where he drove and cared for the elephants. He was a creative problem solver. Ed liked to be social and sit on his porch, greeting his neighbors in nice weather. He was a man of faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed Gunsmoke and Country Music.
Ed is survived by his children, Gary (Linda) Miller, Raymond Harvey, April (Ramon Reyes) Harvey, Daisy (Dallas) Alte, Sheila (Raymond Harvey) Brooks, and William (Pamula) Harvey; his grandchildren David, Daniel, Dallas, Bruce, Allen, Rosie, Cassie, William, Brittany, Brian, Brooke, Emily, Austin, Melody, Noah, Josiah, Liana, Sierra, and Jordan; his great-grandchildren Dallas, Damien, Hayden, Samantha, Howard, Shannon, Thomas, Dominique, Nevah, Caroline, William, Joseph, Izabella, Preston, and Ellanor; and many nieces and nephews.
Ed is preceded in passing by his parents, and his 15 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services for Ed will be 1 PM, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
