Dorothy Gail (Mixon) Rogers

Dorothy Gail Mixon-Rogers, 67, of Greenwood, formerly of Montgomery County, TN passed away Friday, June 8, 2018.

Dorothy was born in Montgomery County, TN on November 14, 1950 to the late John Henry and Katie May (Hutchison) Mixon.  She worked in a nursing home for many years before retiring.  Dorothy was crafty and liked to sew.  She enjoyed going out to eat.  She loved her family and being a grandmother, and loved visiting with her family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Tina Phelps; her 6 grandchildren; her 6 great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in passing by her husband Russell Rogers; her daughter Christina Rogers; her son Steven Rogers; and two sisters. 

A Memorial Service will be 3 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Friends and family are invited to gather starting at 1 until the time of service.
