Doris Jean Northern

Doris Jean Northern, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. 

Doris was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 20, 1930 to Donald and Helen (Bauer) Morford.  She enjoyed crocheted afghan blankets.  She liked watching game shows, shopping off the QVC and spending time with her grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her children Karen (Steve) Burns, Jerry Mitchell, Timothy (Teresa) Mitchell, and Helen Dougherty; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in passing by her parents Donald and Helen Morford; and two brothers Richard and Irvin.

Funeral Services for Doris will be 1 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Bethal Cemetery.
