Welcome to the memorial page for

Delisa Claire Duszynski

March 15, 1990 ~ June 18, 2017 (age 27) 27 Years Old

Delisa Duszynski, 27, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017, in Indianapolis, IN. Born in Michigan City, IN on March 15, 1990, she was a spirited child who loved Dr. Seuss’ “Oh Say Can You Say,” couldn’t get enough of swimming, and dreamed of becoming a singer like Mariah Carey.

Everyone who met Delisa was captivated by her dimpled smile and mischievous eyes, but as she grew older, she struggled with her self-confidence and mental illness. She often gave in to poor choices which ultimately led to her too-early passing.
Those closest to her understand how difficult it was to try to help her and to be rejected by her. We will all mourn what could have been; what should have been, but will celebrate the grace that lives on in her surviving children.
Please remember Delisa’s best moments and honor her struggle by supporting the

“I can't pretend these tears
Aren't overflowing steadily
I can't prevent this hurt from
Almost overtaking me
But I will stand and say goodbye
For you'll never be mine
Until you know the way it feels to fly

So flutter through the sky
Butterfly
Spread your wings and fly
Butterfly”
