The eternally innocent soul of Cynthia Ann Heyob was finally at rest Friday, May 11th. Lovingly known as Cindy, she passed away at 52 years old surrounded by her friends and family at her home in Noblesville, IN.
Born on December 28th, 1965 to parents John and Phyllis at Fort Campbell Kentucky, she came into the world as a fighter and she was a fighter all the way up until the end.
Cindy spent her life as a blessing to everyone she met and all those who loved her. Throughout her many years with Normal Life of Sheridan she was able to participate in the Special Olympics and many community outings with her friends. With all the attributes of a benevolent child she enjoyed bright colors, music, and her T.V., especially Disney and game shows.
All who knew her could tell you all about her wonderful one of a kind laugh that was as big as this world. She was never afraid to let you know what she did or didn't like. Cindy was constantly happy and she would want all of us to not only be happy, but to make more time to share that happiness with one another.
She is survived by her mother Phyllis, her sisters Rhonda Alcorn, Angie Schafer (Tom), Linda Heyob Hofer (Chris), brother John Heyob (Tracey), and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Cindy is proceeded in death by her father John Heyob, who undoubtedly was there to comfort, guide, and welcome her into Heaven.
Arrangements are made by Fountain Square Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to The Arc of Indiana, for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Visitation will be from 6p - 8p on Thursday, May 17th followed by a Funeral Service at 12p on Friday, May 18th at Word of Life Church, 525 S Foltz Ave, with Pastor J.C. Vanover officiating. A graveside service will then be at Anderson Cementary of Indianapolis.
