Christina Young

Christina Young, 27, of Jamestown, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018.

Christina was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 30, 1990 to David Young Sr and Cynthia (Webb) Sorrels.  She loved the outdoors, and her favorite outdoor activities were camping and fishing.  She recently went to Florida and loved it.  She liked music and was forever listening to it and relaxing.  A true Millenial, Christina took a lot of selfies.  She had fantastic hair and taking care of it was a point of pride.  She liked to have fun and goof around.  Christina was a cat person, she absolutely loved them.  Her grandmother and her were exceptionally close, even sharing a birthday.  After her passing, she would often visit her grave to talk to her.  Family was important to her.

Christina is survived by her mother, Cynthia (Bill) Sorrels, her father David Young Sr; her siblings Melissa, Joshua, David, and Jeramiah; her aunts Roberta, Mary, and Carla; her uncle Joseph; her close friend Vernon; her cat Tazz; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Christina will be 12 PM noon, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow Saturday's services at New Crown Cemetery.
