Bruce Wayne McGarr

Bruce Wayne McGarr, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Bruce was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 22, 1949 to Harry Floyd McGarr and Mary Kathryn (Becraft) McGarr.

He was a forklift driver for Beverage Paper Company for many years.  Bruce then went on to become a truck driver and worked for Carter Lee Lumber Company for several years. 

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Bruce is survived by his spouse Deloris McGarr; children, Bruce McGarr Jr., Crystal McGarr; sister Sheila McGarr; brothers, Harold McGarr, Randy McGarr and Terry McGarr

Bruce is preceded is passing by his sisters, Anna King and Rosemary Rose; brothers, Ronald McGarr, Earl McGarr and Troy McGarr.

He had four grandchildren, Richard, Bruce, Katelyn and Jacqueline.

Services for Bruce will be conducted by Reverend Dean White at 1 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from Noon until the hour of service.  Bruce will be laid to rest at New Crown Cemetery.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
