I'm really devastated to hear about this. The Bosters were very nice people. Carl was like my brother. I've known him since I started going to Beech Grove High School when we started our Freshman year. And like me, Carl went to be a Game Designer. We took Computer Programming at Central 9 for a year, and at BGHS he was in almost all of my courses, he was the nicest guy I've ever met, he had the same sense of humor as me, joking during lunch or when were doing a lab together. I drove nearby his house last month and when I parked in front I said "Why did this had to happen?". Lonnie Sr, Jonell, Lonnie Jr and Carl will be deeply missed and I will never forget them. I also spoke at the funeral with my friends Ignacio Rodriguez and Jacob Hale. I love & miss you guys.

Me and Carl were online friends. We'd play games and such, and he was always excited to play anything with me and some of his other friends. He was always cheery and would always be there if we needed someone to talk to. He will be dearly missed from all of us along with his other family that didn't make it. My condolences and best wishes for the future.

My heart goes out to Stacey and the rest of the Boster family. Carl was an amazing man, he wasn't my best friend and he made this world a better place. One of the last things he told me was "The sun always rises, Hope" and I carry that with me everyday. I hope it gives you comfort as well.
