Barbara Jane (Callaway) Pence

Barbara Jane Pence, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 28, 2019.

Barbara was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 21, 1955 to Arthur James and Louis Marie (Hinesley) Callaway.  She held many jobs over the course of her life, including being a medical assistant, a server, and a bartender.  She always gravitated towards people, and people gravitated towards her.  She was very smart and had an admirable work ethic.  She loved being outside, especially going to Rock'n'Roll concerts.  She adored her family and loved being a grandmother.  She is no longer in pain, and can rest easy. 

Barbara is survived by her daughter Candace; her son Chad (Amanda) Jr; her grandchildren Aaron, Mackenzie, and Camille; her siblings Bill Callaway, MaryAnn McKinney, Debra Craig, and Jeff Callaway; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in passing by her parents, Arthur and Louis Callaway.

Funeral Services for Barbara will be 7 PM, Monday, March 4, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
