Arvis C Woods Jr

Arvis C Woods Jr, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 28, 2019.

Arvis was born on July 31, 1955 to Edward T Willey and Mildred (Charleton) Willey in Indianapolis, IN.  After serving in the United States Army Arvis was a construction carpenter.  He always had a strong work ethic and was focused when he had a project.  He was a member of the Church of Acts.  Arvis was a talented drummer and played with the Steve Miller Band. He was a good person and came out a better person through his struggles, rather than let life beat him down.  Arvis enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, he loved relaxing with a beer and a steak.

Arvis is survived by his sons, Christopher (Colleen) and Kai (Channel); his grandchildren Brianna, Elija, Olivia, Andy, Aiden, Lexie; his great-granddaughter Ella; his partner of over 20 years Carol Sneed; his siblings Ronald, Rhonda, Marian, Robert, Michael, Russel, Robin; and many nieces and nephews.

Arvis is preceded in passing by his parents, Edward and Mildred Willey.

A graveside committal will be held at a later date.
