Amber Marie Olvey, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 18, 2019.
Amber was born in Indanapolis, IN on February 25, 1984 to Charles Franklin Olvey and Willimina Marie Adkins. She was working as a Nurse's Aid at the time of her passing. Amber was fun and outgoing, she always loved cracking jokes and making others laugh. She was a free-spirit who liked to do her own thing and be her own person. Amber enjoyed staying active, whether it was going to picknics, bonfires, BBQs, swimming, or even relaxing getting tan she was in. She liked walking and taking her son with her to parks and water parks, or even just going to the gas station. She believed in God and went to church when she was able.
Over everything else, Amber loved being a mom. She adored her children, and liked to color, go to the zoo, the park, and out to eat at McDonald's with MaKenzie. She would often play basketball, curveball, or football with her son, and in the winter they had snow ball fights. They were both car enthusiasts and went to car shows together. She will be greatly missed.
Amber is survived by her children, Elijah Smith (14) and MaKenzie Olvey (7); her father Charles Olvey; her sister Corena Olvey; her brother Charles C. Olvey; her nieces Abbygail Robledo and Jessica Robledo; her nephews Ruben Robledo and Christian Hall; and numerous cousins and extended family members.
Amber is preceded in passing by her daughter Annie Marie Smith; and her mother Willimina Adkins.
Services for Amber are 7 PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 4 PM until the hour of service.
