Richard Michael Wayne Goode, 29, passed away on March 2, 2024. Richard, a native of Indianapolis, IN, was born to Sharon (Vardaman) and John Michael Goode. He was known for his unforgettable presence and an ability to effortlessly make friends. A kind-hearted individual, Richard was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a penchant for pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and extra pepperoni, which he could eat for every meal if given the chance. His love for his daughter was immense, and he had a soft spot for dogs, attempting to pet every one he encountered. Though he battled his inner struggles fiercely, his journey ended tragically, reminding us that not every story concludes with happiness. Richard leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by those who knew him.

Richard is survived by his beloved daughter, Payton Goode, her sister Nikki Spears, his mother Sharon Goode, his father John Michael Goode, his brothers Daniel Hurt and Nathan Terry, his grandparents David and Maria Liford, and numerous other relatives.

Services to honor Richard's life will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 2 PM onwards.
