Nancy Brown

Nancy Brown, born February 14, 1965, of Wellston, MI, passed away on March 14, 2024 at her home in Indianapolis, after a long hard fought battle with stage 4 Ovarian cancer.

Nancy met her husband Richard in 1982 and together they raised their family in Wellston.  She made her career in hospitality and would later stay at home to take care of her husband who had many health issues. Nancy was a fun loving person who enjoyed gardening and music, spending time with family, camping, and canoeing.

Nancy is survived by her sisters Debbie, Valerie, and Angie; her children Yvonne (Victor) Hernandez, Yvette Brown, Rick (Arley) Brown, Kala (Eddie) Fitzgerald, Eric (Irene Rose) Brown, Keli (Dan Charnes) Brown, and her bonus daughter Carrie Goad; her grandchildren Joey and Isaac Diaz, Meleah and Eva Hernandez, Tomas and Jordan Moran, Braxton, Benny, and Arnold Deleon, Keagan and Gavin Brown, Hannah Maddax and Conner Fitzgerald, Devon and Dylan Brown, and Amaya Sisson, and bonus granddaughters Taylor Rose and Lily Rose; great-grandchildren Valerie, Elaina, Adylynn, and Jillian; and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in passing by her husband of 36 years, Richard C. Brown; her parents; and her sisters Lazada, Charlotte, and Ilene.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Wellston Community Center in Wellston, MI on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 3-5 PM. The family will also be gathering in late August 2024 to spread Nancy and Richard's ashes per their wishes.
