Brian Hinkle Obituary

Brian Hinkle, 32, of Greenfield, IN, passed away on March 6, 2024. Formerly residing in Kokomo, IN until age 15, and later on the Southside of Indy until he was 30, Brian's vibrant soul touched the lives of many.

A lover of music and tattoos, Brian immersed himself in the art, even beginning to start doing tattoos himself.  As for music, he loved it, and all the history and current events surrounding it.  He always somehow was in the loop of what was going on, and knew who was beefing with who, often talking about the artists as if he knew them personally. He cherished moments with his children, nieces, and nephews, often indulging in adventurous activities like laser tag, go-kart racing, bowling, and exploring haunted houses, among others. Brian's enthusiasm for life was infectious, always up for anything and relishing in spontaneity.

Beyond his love for adventure, Brian enjoyed assembling model cars, painting, gaming, and engaging in DIY projects with his beloved wife. His passion for movies and binge-worthy shows was well known, one of his favorite relaxing pastimes.

Brian's dream of seeing the ocean became a reality last Christmas, igniting a desire for more travel and a life goal to one day live closer to the water. Despite a setback from a work-related accident, Brian remained determined to pursue his passion for tree climbing and to go back to work doing a job he got great enjoyment from.

Known for his magnetic personality, Brian effortlessly befriended everyone he encountered. Somehow he always seemed to know someone wherever he went, even if he had never been there before. His love knew no bounds, and he fiercely defended his loved ones and stood up for what he believed in.

In 2022, Brian married his soulmate, Angela (Miller/Lydick) starting them on a journey of self-discovery, recovery, and building a life filled with cherished memories.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Mark Hinkle; stepson, Zachary Rybolt-Givans, and a niece Lynnley.

Brian leaves to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy his devoted wife Angela Hinkle; his children Faith, Grace, and Lil Brian; step-children Ciara, Gavin, Jaylin, Gabrielle, and Jaxson; his mother Angela (CJ) Merrell; mother in law Dawn Givans; his brothers Richard (Ashley) Busbee, Christopher (Danielle) Busbee, Steven (Jeanie) Hinkle, and Mark Hinkle; his sister Jancy Overman; his nieces and nephews Meadow, Faibien, Love, Mariah, Julian, Andrew, Karissa, Lynneaha, Raelynn, Wynter, Bianca, and Anthony; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
