Wayne Smith, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.  Wayne was born in Covington, KY, on June 21, 1963 to the late Oscar and Reba (Lowe) Smith.  Wayne loved the outdoors, and made a career out of it.  He ran a Tree Service.  He also loved camping, hunting, and fishing.  He was a survivalist, and liked to learn how to live in the wild.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  Wayne was very social, and was always the life of the party.  He loved kids, and loved being an Uncle.  Family was very important to him, he cared for them deeply.

Wayne is survived by his siblings, Rita Eversole, Novella Young, Tammy Cole, and Sam Cole; his best friend Frank; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Wayne is preceded in passing by his brother Estel Smith.

Funeral Services for Wayne will be 7 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
