Stella Marie Rogers, 83, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

Stella was born in London, KY on August 30, 1934 to the late Jimmy and Pearl (Hill) Asher.  She worked for many years as a line worker for Chevrolet before retiring.  She liked going out on her day excursions with her niece Nicole Henderson where they would often run errands and get lunch together.  She enjoyed spending time with family.

Stella is survived by her children, Edith Rogers, Theo Rogers Jr, and Michael Rogers and his wife Lorna; and her granddaughter Christina Rogers.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in passing by her husband, Theo Rogers Sr; a son; her daughter Connie Jean; and her siblings Mabel and Ted.

Funeral Services for Stella will be 11 AM Thursday at Shelby Street Pentacostal Church.  Visitation ill be from 10 AM until the hour of service.  Burial is scheduled for 2 PM at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, IN.
