Sabrina Cruz, 40, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017.

Sabrina was born in Chicago, IL on March 1, 1977 to Joseph and Dolores (Madina) Cruz.  Sabrina was a music lover.  She liked attending sports games with her husband, Mark.  She liked to laugh and be around people, especially her family.  She was super mom, and super grandma.  She loved spending time with her family.  She had the biggest heart, she wanted to help everyone that she could.  Her husband affectionately would say she collected strays. She was not naturally gifted in the kitchen, and during the early years of their relationship she had a tendency to burn water, but after twenty years picked up a thing or two from Mark, and was a good cook.  Sabrina was special, she was one of the strongest people you could hope to meet.  She loved fiercely, and had a strong bond with the people closest to her.  Her best friend, Sherry, said they often did not even need to talk, they knew what the other was thinking with just a look.  Sabrina was one of a kind, and she will be greatly missed.

Sabrina is survived by her beloved husband of more than 20 years, Mark Cruz; her children Desiree, Mark Jr, Dakota, JR, Kiana, Jordan, Isiah, Savanna, and Meadow, all Cruzes; five grandchildren; her mother Dolores; her best friend Sherry Jett; good friend Pam Northcutt; 9 siblings; and many nieces and nephews.

Sabrina is preceded in passing by her father, Joseph and 4 siblings.

Funeral Service for Sabrina will be 7 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 4 PM until the hour of service.
