Jerry Elson Martin

Jerry Elson Martin, 86, of Indianapolis, formerly of Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Jerry was born in Malden, MO on November 17, 1931 to the John H and Ora Lee (Thompson) Martin. He served in the Army during the Korean War.  He was a commercial pilot and a teacher, among many other things.  Aviation was his greatest passion, and one of the things he taught. 

Jerry is survived by his son, Roger Martin; 3 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Jerry is preceded in passing by his parents, John and Ora Martin. 

Funeral services for Jerry will be 2PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremations & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11AM until the hour of service.  Burial will follow at Washington Park East.
