Janissa Jay Ellis, 48, of Indianapolis passed away March 21, 2017.  Janissa was born in Greenfiled, IN on October 6, 1968 to the late Milan Dee and Nancy L (Wash) Noe.  Janissa loved her country, and felt moved to serve in the Air Force.  She had a deep respect for Veterans.  After being honorably discharged she went on to get her Associates Degree with Lakeview Community College.  She worked construction and was licensed CNA.  Janissa liked to be outside, especially fishing and gardening.  She liked horses and the Kentucky Derby.  She loved all animals, especially her cats, which she referred to as her babies.  She was a history buff and enjoyed reading and learning about all sorts of history.  She enjoyed playing pool and listening to music, she always had a radio on.  Her faith was important to her, and she had a strong belief in God.  She adored her children, and always made sure they knew how much she loved them.

Janissa is survived by her children, Catlin Cutrone and Zachary Tallman; her fiance John Baker; her cousins, inlcuding Mary Beth, Phillip, and Regina; she also had a grandchild on the way.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in passing by her infant brother Mark Lewellen.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.
