James "Jamie" Vernon Templeton, 54, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  Jamie was born on November 26, 1962 in Indianapolis to the late James W and Martha A (Whitaker) Templeton.  Cars were his passion and he made them a career as an auto painter.  Jamie liked all things outdoors, from hunting to fishing to camping.  He liked to go into caves and to races.  He also loved napping, and never missed nap-30.  

Jamie is survived by his wife, Ladonna; his children Jason Templeton, Derek (Amanda) Templeton, Brittnany (Josh Chappell) Templeton; and Nolan Templeton; 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, with a mystery baby on the way;  and his brothers, John Templeton, Jerald Templeton, and Barry Banks.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in passing by his brother Terry Stafford.

Service for Jamie will be 11 AM Monday, February 27, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 2 PM - 6 PM Sunday, February 26, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow Monday's Service at Lincoln Cemetery in Whitestown.
