Flora "Mamaw" May Davis, 74, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017.   Flora was born on December 19, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Gilbert Therman Payne and Fern (Payne) Gram.  She was a homemaker for many years.  Flora always had a strong faith, and regularly attended Church.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping in her younger years, and her favorite TV program was Reba. Above everything else, she loved her family.  She put her life on hold to raise her grandchildren, and they were everything to her.  She loved spending time with them, her great-grandchildren, her great-great-grandchildren, and her great-great-great-grandchildren.  Family was always the most important thing to her.

Flora is survived by her Grandchildren Fedelia Payne, Regina Campbell, Andy Buddy Campbell, Shanda Dick, Chasity Russell, and Jamie Williams; her siblings Gilbert Therman Payne Sr, Bonnie Payne, and Alma Payne; special friends Linda and Charlie Bloucher, Donna Jones, and Margaret Hughes; number grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in passing by her daughter Kathy Campbell; and her brother Preston Payne.
