Elmer William Watson, 73, of Indianapolis passed away December 14, 2017.

Elmer was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 15, 1944 to the late George Washington and Mary Louise (Martin) Watson.  After serving in the Army Elmer went on to do many odd jobs, including working at a Salvage Yard.  He liked to be outdoors, especially fishing or camping.  He loved to race and ride motorcycles.  He was an avid Colts fan.  He used to look like Santa Claus and would dress up like him at his Flea Market booth that he ran, selling various odds, ends, and trinkets.  He liked to work on cars.  Elmer was very charming, especially with women.  He was someone who had the spark of life and it drew others to him.

Elmer is survived by his children, Gregory Scott (Sonya) Watson, Daniel Gene (Christine) Watson, Elmer William Watson II (Toni), Cassandra Dawn (Joshua) Barden, Christy Alexander, Rick Spears, Mike (Addy) Spears, Pamela (Billy) Robbins, Rhonda Harris, Bob (Kim) Spears; his siblings Gill George "Porgie" Watson and Douglas Watson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Elmer is preceded in passing by a daughter Stephanie, Grandchildren LB and Lil Mike; and sisters Rosie and Wilma Marie.

Funeral Services for Elmer will be 7 PM, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
