David Eugene Jaynes, 57, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016.  David was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 14, 1958 to the late John David and Dorothy Irene (O'Byrne) Jaynes.  He was a graduate of Tech High School.  He married Julie Teipen on October 13, 1997 in Tennessee.  He worked for Dial One Janitor Supply for 22 years.  David loved cooking and going out to eat, food was a passion of his.  He also loved to travel to Florida to visit the beach.  Panama City was his favorite destination.  He enjoyed going to the shops while there, and his favorite restaurant, Backyard Burger.  He also liked playing the Black Jack Scratchers.  He was a loving husband and a good father.

David is survived by his wife, Julie Jaynes and his daughter Jessica.  He is preceded in passing by his parents. 

A memorial service is scheduled for noon, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at New Crown Cemetery.
