Carrie Lynn Goodwin, 45, of Indianapolis passed away April 13, 2017.  Carrie was born in Indianpolis, IN on May 31, 1971 to the late Bruce and Patricia (Hatley) Goodwin.  After graduating she briefly served in the Army.  She loved all things outdoors, especially camping, fishing, boating, and swimming.  She was very athletic and played many sports, including Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball.  She was on track to go to the WNBA but due to an elbow injury could not.  She was a tomboy.  She loved spending time with her many many friends, and her family.  Her sister was especially dear to her, as well as her nephew.

Carrie is survived by her sister, Billie Jo King; best friends Shiela Murphy and Crystal Jones; her 4 boys; 1 nephew; and many other friends.  She is preceded in passing by her parents. 

Service for Carrie will be 7PM, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
