Billy Jo Smith

Billy "Daddy-O" Jo Smith, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Billy was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 28, 1959 to Charles and Charlene Smith.  He drove a truck for IDS for many years.  Billy was a handyman, he liked to build things and he was a Jack-of-all-trades.  He loved his dogs, they were like additional children to him.  He was a music lover of all kinds, him and his fiancee wouldn't even watch TV, just listen to tunes to pass the time. He was also a gifted guitar player.  Billy loved his family, especially his grandkids.  He had an affinity for babies and was the baby whisperer.  

Billy is survived by his fiancee, Cinda Dye; his children Jason, Billy, Jeremy, David, Brittany, and Danielle; his siblings Jerry, Diane, Mary, Geanette, and Allen; his dogs Shorty and Puppy; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Billy is preceded in passing by his parents Charles and Charlene Smith.

Funeral Services for Billy will be 7 PM, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3PM until the hour of service.
